It is the reason CellRenew Regenerative Medicine exists, and it is the reason I show up every day with the same sense of purpose I had on my very first day as a doctor.
I have spent over 25 years working at the intersection of clinical medicine, emergency care, and global healthcare leadership. I have treated patients in the most critical moments of their lives, shaped medical strategy at the highest levels of the pharmaceutical industry, and dedicated myself to understanding the science of how the human body heals. All of that experience has brought me here: to a practice built entirely around helping you feel your best.

My Qualifications
My foundation in medicine began at the Medical University of South Africa, where I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB). Early on, I realised that being a truly effective doctor means more than mastering clinical skills — it means understanding the broader systems that shape health and healing. That belief led me to the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business, where I completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA), supported by a prestigious MTN scholarship.
I later added a Post-graduate Diploma in Health Economics for Healthcare Professionals from the University of York in the UK — because understanding the full value of a treatment, and its real impact on a person's quality of life, has always mattered deeply to me.
This combination of medical, business, and economic thinking means that when I design your treatment plan, I am looking at the whole picture: the science, the person, and the lasting difference it will make to your life.
My commitment to learning has never stopped. I am ISSCA-certified in Regenerative Medicine through the International Society for Stem Cell Application, placing me among a select group of practitioners trained in the most advanced biological therapies available today. I am CMA-certified in advanced PRP Therapies, with expertise in the safe and effective use of platelet-rich plasma for tissue repair and regeneration. I hold a DNAlysis certification in nutrigenomics and precision medicine, which means I can work with your unique genetic profile to create treatment plans that are not just evidence-based, but genuinely tailored to you.
My POCUS and ultrasound-guided injection certification ensures that every treatment I deliver is precise, targeted, and safe.
Why I Chose Regenerative Medicine
I did not arrive at regenerative medicine by accident. I arrived by conviction.
For years, I worked on the front lines of emergency medicine — performing life-saving interventions, managing complex trauma, and caring for patients across some of South Africa's busiest hospital casualty departments. In those high-pressure environments, I witnessed something that never left me: the body's extraordinary, often underestimated, capacity to heal itself. What it needed, time and again, was simply the right support.
At the same time, my career at the highest levels of global pharmaceutical medicine — as Global Associate Medical Director at Mundipharma International, as Head of Medical Affairs across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, and as a Senior EMEA Regional Medical Consultant for leading global health brands — gave me an intimate view of where conventional medicine excels, and where it falls short. I watched patients manage symptoms for years, sometimes decades, without ever addressing the root cause of how they were feeling.
That is what drove me to regenerative medicine. I wanted to offer you something different — not just a prescription, but a path. A way to feel genuinely well again, from the inside out.

Who I Am Beyond the Clinic

Outside of the practice, I find my greatest sense of wonder through travel. Exploring different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life reminds me constantly of the richness and diversity of the human experience — and it keeps me curious, open, and deeply connected to the people I care for. I am also drawn to the outdoors and the natural world, where I find the same quiet wisdom that underpins everything I do at CellRenew: that living systems, given the right conditions, are designed to flourish.
And then there is my other great love — watercolour painting. There is something about the way watercolour works — the way it demands patience, attentiveness, and a willingness to let things unfold — that mirrors the way I approach medicine. Every patient, like every painting, is unique. Every treatment plan, like every brushstroke, requires care, precision, and an eye for what makes this particular person, this particular moment, unlike any other.
Healing, I have come to believe, is not only biological. It is holistic. It is personal. And it is, at its heart, an art.
